Saturday 9 July Paulton Party-in-the-Park: We were promoting MIAB (Message in a Bottle) and raising funds with our Lions Tombola, and various items. We raised just over £100 for our charity funds.
Meeting 3 July: We were delighted to welcome 1st Vice District Elect, Lion Phil Bunt and his wife Gill to our meeting.
We donated £250 to LCIF (Lions Clubs International Foundation).Sunday 29 June: 48th Charter anniversary celebration.
Hunter's Rest, Clutton. An excellent meal.
Lion President Lyn proposed the toast to Lions International.
PDG Lion Sally Marsh, president of our branch club, SWUK, responded on behalf of Lions International.Easter: We placed 42 hampers in pubs, clubs and social meeting places, raising nearly £3,800 gross.
Thank you to all our supporters.Meeting 6 March: We donated £500 to Navigating SEND and £250 to Bob Cook Games.
Race Night, 31 January: Held at Westhill Sports and Recreation club, raised over £670 towards our charity funds. Thank you to Westhill for supporting this.
Meeting 9 January: Matthew was inducted into the club, the ceremony being preformed by Lion President Lyn. We donated £250 to Sight Savers, £250 to Ukraine and £600 towards Water Survival Boxes, a Rotary project.
December, Carol Float: We were out in the cold and sometimes the damp! We collected over £4,000 for our charity funds. Thank you to our supporters.
Meeting 5 December: We donated £250 to Jesse May. Lin President Lyn was pleased to present Lion Tony with his 45 year £ chevron.
Meeting 7 November: We donated £500 to Great Western Air Ambulance, £500 to providing an Assistance dog, £250 to ion Brass for Youth, £500 to Kids Cancer Charity and £100 to LCIF.
Prostate screening, 26 October: We ran a screening clinic. 239 men were tested, 14 amer indications and 10 red. Those who did not get a green result were urged to contact their doctors as soon as possible.
Meeting 5 September: DG Kevin visited the club. We pledged £1000 to the Vision Camera Project.
24 August: Hallatrow and High Littleton Village Day: Raising funds with our lions tombola and promoting MIAB.
Meeting 1 August: We donated £250 to Bath City Farm and £25 to Keynsham Food Bank.
Meeting 4 July: Lion President Lyn's first meeting.
We donated £300 to CHSW (Children's Hospice South West) and £300 to Support dogs UK.Meeting 6 June: We donated £200 to LCIF for floods in Brazil and a landslide in Patagonia. Locally we donated £500 to Peasedown Youth Club.
Meeting 2 May: We donated £200 to LCIF for wildfires in Texas.
Meeting 4 April: We donated £200 to LCIF for an earthquake in Taiwan and £1,500 towards a wheelchair for a child.
Meeting 2 March: We donated £200 to Dorothy House Hospice Card and £250 to SWALLOW (South Wansdyke Living and Learning Our Way).
Meeting 1 February: We donated £1,000 to P.E.O.P.L.E. and pledged £1,500 towards a walking frame for a child
Meeting 11 January: We were graced with a visit from our District Governor, Lion James Mathers. We donated £300 towards the running of the local food bank.
